Featuring Dr. Thomas Scalea, System Chief for Critical Care Services at the University of Maryland Meical System. Dr. Scalea established the US Air Force C-STARS Program (Center for Sustainment of Trauma and Readiness Skills).This program trains Air Force men and women of all disciplines, refining trauma skills before deployment. For the last 14 years, C-STARS has trained approximately 4.000 people before deployment in either Iraq or Afghanistan. >
This fun evening will include dueling piano entertainment by CUTTING EDGE,
abuffet reception, wine, beer and a fabulous silent auction.
Proceeds will go to Hadassah Medical Organization's Emergency and Trauma Care so we can continue to rush anywhere in the world where there are victims of trauma and disaster.
